The Campus France (CEF) process

In order to promote higher education and international mobility, an online application process has been established by the Campus France agency.

Applications must be submitted before the 1st January of the relevant year on Etudes en France website
From April to June : application is considered by CEF centers and UBx. Applicants will be notified
From July to September : administrative and educational registration : consult the procedures of your school

You may complete the process online depending on your country of origin :

NORTHERN AFRICA / MIDDLE-EAST	Algeria, Egypte, Iran, Koweït, Lebannon, Morrooco, Tunisia

Non-CEF admission (Campus France)

You are:

A national of the European Union
A French national holding a foreign degree
Of a nationality which is not featured on the list of CEF process countries and the holder of a foreign degree

Requirements

Level of studies

You must have passed your secondary school studies (or be certain you will pass the baccalaureate).

Level of French

A B2 level of French is compulsory and must be proved with a certificate (TDF or DALF). As part of the pre-admission application, you must sit an exam which tests your comprehension of the French language. The cost of this test is around €65 and it can be taken in an Alliance Française or in an approved language center.

You do not need a TCF or DALF certificate if:

You come from a State where French is an official language or you completed the majority of your secondary school studies in French.
You are an international student from a bilingual French course listed by the Ministries of National Education and of Foreign Affairs.

Visas

Obtaining a "student" visa is always compulsory!

Funding

French legislation demands that international students must prove that they have access to sufficient funds in France to be able to continue their studies without having to work, meaning a monthly income of €615.
