Training
The training and professional integration of doctoral students are national and local priorities. The training offered to doctoral students during their thesis, develops their employability, equipping them with the skills required for careers at the highest level.

Doctoral students within the University of Bordeaux must follow a training plan of 100 hours during their doctoral studies. It is advised to create a training plan at the beginning of the thesis in agreement with the supervisor. The training on offer is organized as follows:
• Specific (or scientific) training offered by doctoral schools
• Cross-disciplinary training courses offered by the Graduate Research School
• Interdisciplinary training courses open to doctoral students from several doctoral schools

ADUM is a secure information interface (Accès Doctorat Unique Mutualisé). This collaborative management and communication tool is designed for students to enroll and re-enroll, organize their thesis defense, access job offers and submit their CV. It is used by 130 doctoral schools.
Please note that all procedures must be completed via the ADUM interface. This includes consulting the catalogue, enrolling for a training program, obtaining a certificate, etc.
