Welcome to our international students!
Every year, the University of Bordeaux organizes a variety of activities to help international students get settled in to campus life. Once again this year, with the ongoing sanitary context linked to COVID-19, the integration experience is proposed in a hybrid format to ensure that our international students receive the warm welcome they deserve!

The University of Bordeaux welcomes approximately 7,000 international students each year. A variety of welcome tools and events have been planned for those students who will be arriving to Bordeaux in September and later in the year, to ensure a fun-filled integration period while respecting health recommendations.
For further information on getting started at the University of Bordeaux, make sure to check out our welcome guide which includes all you need to know to live and learn in Bordeaux!

Throughout the year
For any questions related to their stay, international students are invited to contact the Student Life Centers - SLC (Bureau de la Vie Etudiante) and Mobility Services (International Office - for those within an exchange program), located on the main campus sites. Information is available on topics such as registration processes, student integration, French classes, student file management and follow-up, scholarship and accommodation requests, Erasmus program agreements, etc. Different university services may also be indicated should students have questions about financial support and grants, health, social, culture, sport, leisure, etc.
Find out about all the activities proposed by the Student Life Centers throughout the year by checking out their Facebook page!
